This super easy vegan chocolate hazelnut mousse recipe has a wonderful flavor and texture. Give it a spin, you won’t be disappointed.
- 2/3 cup (100g) hazelnuts
- 1/3 cup (20g) shredded coconut
- ¾ cup (150g) sugar
- ½ cup (120ml) hot water
- 1 cup (85g) oats
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- chopped hazelnuts for garnish
- shredded coconut to serve as a base
Add the hot water and sugar to your blender and blend in high speed for 3 minutes. Then add the oats, coconut, cinnamon, hazelnuts and blend for 2 more minutes. The times will depend on the power of your blender.
Divide the mousse into serving cups. Pour a base of shredded coconut, top with the hazelnut mousse and garnish with coarsely chopped hazelnuts.

- 2/3 caneca (100g) de avelãs
- 1/3 caneca (20g) de côco ralado
- ¾ caneca (150g) açúcar
- ½ caneca (120ml) água quente
- 1 caneca (85g) de aveia
- 1 colher se chá de canela
- avelãs partidas para decorar
- côco ralado para a base
Colocar o açúcar com a água quente numa liquidificadora por 3 minutos em potência máxima. Acrescentar a aveia, côco, canela, e avelãs e liquidificar por mais 2 minutos. Os tempos dependem da potência da liquidificadora.
Servir em doses individuais, com côco ralado na base e cobrir com a mouse. Decorar com pedacinhos de avelã.

Hi Kary, muesli, granola, or even crushed biscuits/cookies will be great alternatives here, they will add a different flavor and texture.
