Making your own vegan condensed milk is easy, takes only a few minutes and 3 ingredients. This vegan condensed milk is perfect for all of your desserts and is the right substitute in any recipe that calls for regular condensed milk.
- ¾ cup (150g) sugar
- ½ cup (120ml) hot water
- 1 cup (85g) oats
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Add the hot water and sugar to your blender and blend in high speed them for 3 minutes. Then add the oats and blend for 2 more minutes. The times will depend on the power of your blender.
Pour into a glass container, and keep the vegan condensed milk in the fridge for 5-7 days.

I had no idea this was possible! Thanks for sharing!
You’re welcome 🙂 if you end up giving it a go let me know how it goes 😉
This is BRILLIANT!
Thanks ?
This is great!
Thanks ?
My daughter is allergic to dairy and I’ve always wanted to make brigadeiro for her and I found this thank you so much
I never tried to do brigadeiro!! If it turns out good please share the recipe 🙂 🙂 hope it works! Ana xx
Great! I think I’ll try it then. Its even easier than oat milk since there’s no straining (or soaking).
That’s true 🙂 hope you like it. And you can put a bit less of oats to be more liquid
Cool. I wonder if this would be good in coffee? Or too grainy?
I like to add it to my coffee, and it’s not grainy 🙂
This is great! As someone who studied baking in college (most of this time I wasn’t vegan yet) I have been trying to veganise a lot of my recipes from then. This is definitely a great help. Thanks!
That’s great 🙂 thanks for passing by
Will definitely give this a go!
its great, I always have some in the fridge 🙂
Have you tried using this in recipes?
My partner is crazy about this and eats it with a spoon from the jar 🙂 , but I do use it as coffee creamer, sweeter, to add to cakes, porridge, for topping, add to ice-cream, pies, chia puddings, with peanut butter toast, drizzle over fresh fruit….
This looks really good, Ive been trying to cook lately and make things and your blog is so inspiring.
Thanks ? let me know if you need anything ! Ana xx
Woow! That`s so easy indeed. I love those kind of recipes when you don`t need to run to supermarket to get the ingredients as you already have them all at home. Thanks for sharing 🙂
